Putin gets advice from mercenary

 Washington Post:

Yevgeniy Prigozhin, the Russian tycoon behind mercenary group Wagner, personally told Vladimir Putin that military chiefs are mismanaging the war, U.S. officials said.

The war has exposed the military weakness of Russia and the ineptness of Putin as a leader.  He should have never started the war, to begin with.  Ukraine was never a threat to Russia before the war.   While Wagner evidently has his own army, it is a limited group that has a limited reach.  While the leadership of the Russian war effort is more than suspect that is as much of a reflection on Putin as it is on them.
