Biden fails to take responsibility for the border crisis he created

 Washington Examiner Editorial:

The flight of illegal immigrants from San Antonio to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, organized by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is the political gift that keeps on giving. According to the Democrats, this flight so traumatized the immigrants involved that a civil rights lawsuit has been filed on their behalf.

But back in the real world, according to the Los Angeles Times, when the immigrants' friends and relatives overseas heard what happened to them, they … decided to try and come to the United States too.

“I heard you can get a lot of help out there,” an immigrant’s friend texted him through WhatsApp after news of the Martha’s Vineyard flight spread. “Is it true?” That’s right: The DeSantis flight was so harmful to the migrants involved that migrants from around the world are now lining up, hoping to get similar flights.

And the Biden administration is even trying to blame the border crisis, a crisis that Biden started 18 months before the DeSantis flight, on DeSantis.

...

The only reason these immigrants are illegally crossing our southern border now is that they are being told by the immigrants already here that the southern border is open, thanks to President Joe Biden. They know that the current Biden administration policy is to catch people illegally crossing the southern border and then release them into the U.S. to go wherever they want.

Until that policy changes, until Biden swallows his pride and reimplements President Donald Trump’s successful "Remain in Mexico" program, the border crisis, which is killing record numbers of illegal immigrants, will only get worse.

Biden is wholly responsible for the border crisis and his attempt to shift responsibility to Republican governors is both laughable and ludicrous.  In fact, Biden's policies should be impeachable.  What the Republican governors are doing is exposing Biden's perfidy by transporting these illegals to Democrat strongholds.
