Democrats try to cover for Biden crime family

Congressional Republicans continue to push for more information over the dealings of Hunter and James Biden but are meeting resistance from President Joe Biden and their Democratic colleagues.

The latest salvo came when Democrats on the House Oversight Committee voted down a resolution to investigate Hunter Biden, the president's son. Nineteen Republicans, led by ranking member Rep. James Comer (R-KY), forced the vote but were turned away by the committee's 23 Democrats.

"Oversight Republicans’ ongoing investigation has revealed the Biden family has peddled access to the highest levels of government to enrich themselves, and, unfortunately, often to the detriment of U.S. interests,” Comer said in remarks ahead of the vote. “By passing this resolution of inquiry, we will provide the American people with much-needed transparency to understand the Biden family’s businesses."

He later accused Hunter and James — the latter being the president's younger brother — of facing little accountability for their "deal-making with shady and Chinese Communist Party-connected associates."

House Republicans have been frustrated in their attempts to investigate Hunter Biden but are promising to launch larger efforts with the vastly increased power they'd enjoy as the majority party.

The Dems are protecting the Big Guy and the perps who were selling access to him.  Perhaps they have their own access operations.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
