She should not be trying to hide the data
Washington Post:
She’s braved rough seas and space walks. Now she’s facing climate change skeptics.I am not buying her pitch that she is protecting the scientists. One of the reasons there are more skeptics these days is because those who are pushing the claims of "climate change" have this attitude of "trust me" I am a scientist. Hiding the data is no way to build confidence in a theory. Her rationale for not producing the data makes no sense at all unless she is trying to hide manipulation of the material. It is a good way to create more skeptics.
Friends say Kathryn Sullivan, the embattled head of NOAA, is determined to keep politics out of science.
