Texas argues against Supreme Court review of decisions blocking Obama amnesty plan

Texas Urges Supreme Court to Reject Appeal on Obama’s Immigration Program


In a brief filed Tuesday, the state’s attorney general argued that lower courts had properly rejected an “unprecedented assertion of executive authority.”
If the court decides to hear the appeal, I think the chances are remote that they will reverse the lower court rulings.  The Obama administration is trying to rewrite the immigration laws for political purposes.
