When 'pro choice' is not ambiguous enough to win

NY Times:
In this midterm election season, women’s groups like Planned Parenthood are shifting their language to reflect a range of health and economic issues that include abortion.
Their problem is that "Pro Choice" has become synonymous with "Pro Abortion."   If they talk about abortion they turn off a lot of voters so they have taken to hiding their agenda with bogus claims about women's health as an excuse for abortion.  The fact is that most abortions have little to nothing to do with the woman's health and a lot to do with the inconvenience of having a baby.  They have also made disingenuous claims about "access" to birth control.  They seem to be willing to say almost anything to avoid having a honest conversation about their agenda.   If they did they fear they would lose support.
