It is sort of like the liberal media in a Republican administration

NY Times:
An ad paid for by the Senate Majority PAC against Representative Cory Gardner, calling him an extremist on women’s issues.

Since the Supreme Court's 2010 Citizens United ruling, lavish spending by outside groups has created a nearly nonstop campaign season with a harsh, negative tone.
The line about Gardner is a cutline for a graphic that did not make it to the headline section of the Times.   But it makes my point about how he media treats conservatives, and now how liberal groups treat them.  The good thing about the change is that conservative Republicans can night fight back against a near monopoly by liberals.  Before Citizens United that was much more difficult.
