Will unions have any money left for 2012 even if they win?

From the NY Times:

After Wisconsin, Union Fights in Ohio and Indiana

The fight over collective bargaining goes on, but little has been said about the inherent conflict of interest where Democrats negotiate with tax payer money that is given to some one that is taking a portion of that money and giving it to Democrats so they can collectively screw the taxpayers again.  It is a conflict that is so obvious it is shocking that so little has been said about it by most of the media.  As the NY Times Editorial Board might say I have been "hitting this issue hard" in recent days, and some conservative commentators are also starting to take note, butg this should really be part of the public debate about the "mad in Madison" crowds.

With the unions hauling in AstroTurf buddies from union locals around the country, they have to be spending some of their 2012 campaign contributions early this cycle.  That suggest they see their situation as pretty desperate.  They are still getting a lot of free ride from many in the media who are also unionized.  I guess reporting on stories about your buddies is a conflict of interest for another day.
