Woman banned from entering any pub or bar in Britain
Daily Mail:
I knew a judge in Austin who told those he was placing on probation, " You may not go anywhere where alcohol is sold, served or consumed. That means you may not go into a 7-11 to cash a check. Do you understand this order?"
BTW, "Asbos" stands for anti social behavior orders. The Brits tend to pass them out rather than arrest someone for being drunk and disorderly. They do not appear to be particularly effective.
Apparently she gets a little rowdy after a few drinks. I don't think the order is unprecedented.A woman has become the first person to be banned from buying or drinking alcohol anywhere in England and Wales.
Laura Hall, 20, was issued with a Drinking Banning Order - nicknamed Booze Asbos - which bars her from entering any pub, club, off-licence or bar.
The two-year order also bans Hall from buying alcohol at any other establishment or shop, carrying it in an unsealed container or drinking it in a public place.
