South Koreans tring to enter US illegally held for ransom in Mexico

The five South Koreans must have hooked up with the wrong gang of people smugglers in Reynosa across from McAllen, Texas. They were held for $30,000 ransom before being released to Mexican police. The story does not indicate whether the ransom was paid. It does suggest that investigators were able to trace the phones used for making the ransom demand.
