Clinton finally gets it on Obama "accomplishments"
NY Times:
It was amusing to see his aid say McCain was being unfair about Obama's remarks on attacking Pakistan. This is from the same camp that has been accusing McCain of wanting 100 years more of war in Iraq, when he was in fact talking about troops being stationed there the way they are in Germany, Japan and Korea. If Obama does not know the difference he is not smart enough to be President and if he does, he is being dishonest in his attack.
By focusing on accomplishments it robs Obama of his change excuse for lack of experience. It is something that she should have done weeks ago. The lack of accomplishments highlights the inexperience in a way that change cannot change. It makes a stronger case that Obama is a rookie. I think he is also vulnerable on his choice of some of his advisers, particularly those from the disastrous Carter administration.Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday went after Sen. Barack Obama as inexperienced on matters of national security and as a politician with no record of accomplishment.
The New York Democrat said it was time to "get real" that only she has the credentials to face Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona.
"That is all we're asking for, we're asking to compare our records, we're asking to compare our years of service ... our ideas, our solutions," Mrs. Clinton said yesterday as her husband called Texas and Ohio make-or-break elections.
