Yolanda Ortega admitted she'd spent a bundle on the vehicle, with its souped-up motor and tricked-out stereo system. But her husband was about to return from a war zone and he'd been wanting a Corvette since forever.“You never know what the future will bring,” said Ortega, 37, a social worker in Oceanside. “Why not enjoy it now?”
