Saudis look at building fence on Iraq border

Saudi Arabia is currently studying offers from 14 local and international companies, which are interested in constructing the wall the Kingdom plans to build along its border with Iraq.

“We are now in the process of evaluating the proposals and the implementation will begin soon,” Prince Naif told reporters on Sunday evening.

Saudi Arabia announced last year that a wall would be built along its border with Iraq as a security measure to hinder the movement of people in both directions.

Probably not among the 16 is the most experienced contractor, the one responsible for the fence the Israelis put up to stop exploding Palestinians. That is too bad since their work has been tested effective. When the Saudis get their own fence up will they quit shining about the Israeli fence? Probably not.
