Details of Clinton teams bumbling on bin Laden

The Washington Post gives details on Clinton administration micro management which made capture and/or killing of Osama bin Laden prohibitively difficult.

Another story in the Post gives the details of on the ground work in Pakistan and Afghanistan. While both stories appear to be rather detailed, neither mentions the Clinton administrations failure to take bin Laden when he was offered by Sudan. The administration seemed to tie itself in legal knots when it came to dealing with a very deadly threat. They seemed to nuance themselves into a choke hold in their own arms.
