The left's allegation of racism in US exceeds the actual cases

John Nolte: ... When people desperately need something that is no longer available, they improvise, they invent, they make it up. When Sharpton, Geist, and Wallace are so desperate to exploit an act of racism that they are willing to look that ridiculous inventing one, what we have here is a demand for racism that far exceeds the supply. There is proof of this supply problem all over the place. For instance… Did you know that the NASCAR “noose” is the ninth noose hoax in as many years? This is the ninth time the media and the left have invented a noose hoax to frame America as racist. As far as overall hate hoaxes, we are now in the hundreds… That’s right, in just a few years, there have literally been over a hundred hate hoaxes perpetrated by the media and the left to frame America as racist. How great of a country is America? How tolerant of a country is America? How not-racist is America? America is so great, is so not-racist, is so tolerant that in 2015, and in...

NY Times falsely accuses the President of ignoring intel that was never briefed to him

Washington Examiner: T he nation’s spy chief  denied reports  that President Trump had been briefed on a U.S. intelligence report claiming that Russian military intelligence was offering bounties to Afghan militants to target U.S. and coalition forces. “I have confirmed that neither the President nor the Vice President were ever briefed on any intelligence alleged by the  New York Times  in its reporting yesterday,” Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said in a statement released just before midnight on Saturday. “The White House statement addressing this issue earlier today, which denied such a briefing occurred, was accurate.  The New York Times  reporting, and all other subsequent news reports about such an alleged briefing are inaccurate.” The  New York Times   reported  on Friday  that a U.S intelligence assessment  concluded that a Russian spy unit paid Taliban-connected militants in Afghanistan to kill U...

The Democrat/FBI coup attempt should not be forgiven

Roger Kimball: ... Many commentators, myself included, have described the whole “Donald-Trump-was-a-Russian-Asset” caper as the biggest political scandal in U.S. history . We were ridiculed or condemned by the Left and the NeverTrump fraternity alleged to be on the Right for saying that, but time has proven us right . We were right, too, that this scandal was less a “hoax,” as it was sometimes called, than an attempted, if slow-motion, coup . It was an attempted coup because it aimed to disrupt the peaceful transition of presidential power from one administration, and one party, to another. That sounds pretty dramatic, I know—aren’t “coups” things that happen in South American banana republics, not the United States? But as I wrote in May 2019 , “coup” accurately expresses the deliberate effort by actors in the Obama Administration , including by President Obama himself, to assure Hillary Clinton’s victory by destroying the reputation of Donald Trump. “Most Presidents leave off...

Postal worker in Texas accused of throwing GOP candidate's mailer in the trash

Image
The Lid: On Friday, Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls posted a video to Twitter that shows a postal worker dumping a stack of his campaign mailers in a dumpster. Nehls is running for the Republican nomination to House of Representatives in Texas’ 22nd Congressional District as a Republican. The incumbent Pete Olson (R) is retiring A runoff GOP primary election between Nehls and Kathaleen Wall is scheduled for July 14 in this R+10 district. In the video below, the driver is seen pulling up to the dumpster, getting out, and throwing something in the trash. Nehls said the person attempted to hide the mailers before discarding them. “A US Postal worker was just caught on video throwing a stack of my campaign mailers in a dumpster. Some patriots nearby heard a noise when she tossed them in & went to investigate. They found a stack of them and called me. No wonder people are skeptical of mail-in voting,” he said on Twitter. ... Yes, this is a felony. But we can’t help bu...

Sen. Tim Scott clearly more intelligent than Pelosi and white liberals

Adrea Widburg: Because Sen. Tim Scott (R., S.C.) believes black lives matter, he wrote the JUSTICE Act, aimed at police reform. Nancy Pelosi responded by accusing him and other Republicans of murdering George Floyd. Pelosi’s crude attack reveals that white leftists believe they have enough momentum to abandon the pretense that this is a racial revolution and not a Marxist revolution. While Democrats are demanding the end of policing, something that  blacks strongly oppose , Sen. Scott’s JUSTICE Act is a serious effort to fix some of the obvious flaws in our criminal justice system.  Reading the proposed bill , one can see that Scott paid close attention to real problems bedeviling America’s police and is trying, subject to federal limitations, to address them. These are just some of the bill’s proposals: Building a nationwide database of use of force and weapons discharge situations to help develop better policing methods. Building a database about No Knock raids to de...

The climate change scam

Charles Battig: First there was Michael Moore’s  Planet of the Humans , then came Bjorn Lomborg’s  False Alarm,  and now Michael Schellenberger’s  Apocalypse Never.   All three authors sound the common theme that the  hyper-green environmental activists who have captured, politicized, and monetized  the concern for the environment have, as Lomborg explains, created  a false climate  alarm  which has “costs us trillions, hurts the poor, and fails to fix the planet.”  To varying degrees, all three authors come from a strong environmental activist background, which observation makes their public revelations even more noteworthy. Planet of the Humans,  the recent film produced by Michael Moore, caused consternation and a considerable backlash from the green activists and their allied backers by pointing out how traditional energy companies had co-opted the environmental movement by donning a green alter-ego and embracing ...

The WaPo 'fact check' scam

PJ Media: ... Bump showed this data graphically in the chart below: This, according to Bump, totally debunks Trump’s claim, and claims Trump would “no doubt shrug at that detail, decrying as ‘fake news’ the revelation that his assertion was only slightly wrong.” So, by this standard, because only 17 out of 20 of the most violent cities are run by Democrats, or 19 out of 20 of the most violent cities per capita are run by Democrats, Trump’s oft-repeated claim that the most dangerous cities in the country are run by Democrats is false. And we’re supposed to believe that the  Washington Post  isn’t biased? How does someone like Philip Bump still have a job after basically trying to argue that two plus two equals five? ... The Washington Post is run by anti-Trump bigots who tell readers that "are you going to believe me or your lying eyes" when it comes to the failure of Democrat-controlled cities.

The high cost of Democrat virtue signaling about defunding police

Fox News: Minneapolis council members calling to defund police spend $63G on private security details after receiving death threats The security details reportedly cost the city $4,500 a day in taxpayer dollars. This is a good demonstration of how impractical the defunding the police movement is.  They are going to be spending more on private security and policing will still have to be done by whomever and whatever they call the new public safety jobs.  Liberalism has become a brainless disease in places like Minneapolis.

The blame Trump left is at it again

Image
Washington Post: With Trump leading the way, record surge in new infections exposes failures in U.S. response As case numbers rise, a virus that has killed at least 123,000 Americans has revealed a crisis in governance extending from the Oval Office to state capitals to local city councils. This is absurd.  The lockdown was so the virus would not overload the healthcare facilities.  It was never to keep the virus from eventually doing its thing.  In fact, there were more deaths from the virus in states that had the toughest lockdowns. So far, we are not out of beds in the ER to treat those who are coming down with the virus. There is also some evidence that the leftist protest movement is more responsible for the spread of the virus than state policies.  The new cases seem to fit the two week incubation period following the huge protest gatherings. But this is the Washington Post which seems to have an editorial policy of blaming Trump for a...

Chicoms, like leftist in this country try to limit free speech

NY Times: China’s New National Security Law Looms Over Hong Kong Chinese lawmakers could approve the law within days, threatening to curb free speech and protest in the territory after a year of political tumult. From big tech to academia in the US there is a move to limit the speech of conservatives.  They are following the dead of totalitarian tyrants in China and elsewhere.

Here is how the coronavirus snuck up on the world

NY Times: How the World Missed Covid-19’s Silent Spread Symptomless transmission makes the coronavirus far harder to fight. But health officials dismissed the risk for months, pushing misleading and contradictory claims in the face of mounting evidence. Democrats would rather blame Trump who listened to the health officials and actually took action before they recommended it.  I think this is one of the first stories to actually get it.  There was also the perfidy to the Chicoms who banned flights from Wuhan to the rest of China, while they allowed thousands of flights to the rest of the world making it a worldwide pandemic.  We still do not know for certain whether this was a man-made virus from a Chicom lab.  But if you were trying to spread this disease around the world, you would likely design it to be symptomless.

It was the discovery of Obama and FBI skulduggery that freed Flynn

NY Times: How Michael Flynn’s Defense Team Found Powerful Allies A lawyer for the former national security adviser turned to the attorney general for help, and he delivered, months before a pair of appellate judges handed Mr. Flynn another legal victory. The premise of this story is misleading.  A US attorney discovered that the FBI had no predicate for even investigating Flynn.  None.  He also discovered that the FBI withheld exculpatory evidence on a grand scale.  The attorney general acted responsibly to right a clear wrong.  We now know that the Obama administration plotted to frame Flynn in order to keep him from disclosing some of its nefarious conduct including the use of intelligence agencies for political attacks against the incoming administration.  This is one of the most diabolical plots to hamper a new administration in history and Obama and his cohorts were aided and abetted by a Trump-hating media.  I suspect that is why t...

White radicals now dominate Black Lives Matter

Clarice Feldman: ... Blue state riots continue, further harming the poor, who have been the least able to maneuver around the lengthy social confinement mandated by their governors and mayors. To the extent that people are led by the media misreporting to think this is the justified response of a black underclass, think again.  BLM really is better named  White Leftist Matters (WLM),  a movement largely by young, middle and upper-class whites to increase their own political power.   Two  American Thinker  posts ( here  and  here ) show how whites have taken over the Black Lives Matter movement. A startling statistic is that  only one in six protesters  is black. On Friday, an article from Marin and two videos vividly illustrated the white takeover. In uber-leftist Mill Valley, California,  a local newspaper's photos  from a Black Lives Matter march reveal almost no blacks. It shouldn’t be a surprise that t...

Democrats are acting too crazy to win an election?

Elizabeth Vaughn: The Fox News polling results released on Thursday created quite a stir on both sides of the aisle. The survey showed President Trump substantially trailing former Vice President Joe Biden both nationally and in critical battleground states. Worse still, the findings added credence to other recent polls which showed Biden with a comfortable lead over the President. Republican pundits have been dispensing advice to Team Trump on ways to turn it around. He needs to provide a detailed agenda for his second term, he needs to draw a distinction between himself and Biden. And finally, he needs to point out Biden’s weaknesses. So far, the President has done a great job with the latter. Biden supporters, forgetting that polls are constantly changing, have declared Biden the winner and some are wondering if Trump will exit the race early to avoid a humiliating defeat . Conservative Brian Cates, a longtime writer for the Epoch Times, wrote a fact-filled, and reassuring, T...

FBI issues wanted poster for 15 allegedly involved in attack on Andrew Jackson statue

Just the News: The FBI has release a poster with the pictures of 15 people on which the agency seeking information in connection with the attempted destruction Monday of a monument to former President Andrew Jackson near the White House.  President Trump on Friday tweeted a picture of his poster to his roughly 80 million followers.  Protesters gathered in D.C.'s Lafayette Square Monday in an attempted to bring down the statue of Jackson, which has been at that location since 1852, seven years after the former president's death. The would-be destroyers struggled and ultimately failed to tear the monument down with ropes.  The FBI has since opened up an investigation into the incident, which they said might constitute a felony offense. In his tweet Trump  wrote  that "MANY people [are] in custody, with many others being sought for Vandalization of Federal Property in Lafayette Park." "10 year prison sentences!" he also said, referring to an ex...

AG Barr forms task force to deal with anti-government radicals

NY Post: Attorney General Bill Barr said Friday he was forming a new government task force to take aim at “anti-government extremists.” Barr outlined the new group in a memo obtained by the Washington Post. “Although these extremists profess a variety of ideologies, they are united in their opposition to the core constitutional values of a democratic society governed by law,” Barr wrote. “Some pretend to profess a message of freedom and progress, but they are in fact forces of anarchy, destruction, and coercion.” The new task force comes as the United States faces weeks of racial and civil unrest, which has stemmed from the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer last month. The task force is the latest action by the Justice Department to rein in looting and lawlessness, which has gripped cities across the country. ... The group already has 500 active cases.  They need to quickly bring them to justice to stop the Democrat wreck and ruin strategy. ...

Democrat incompetence leads to 'voter suppression'

Karl Rove: ... Democratic candidates have taken up the cry. Texas state Sen. Royce West, who’s seeking the party’s U.S. Senate nomination, cited Georgia in declaring “the GOP knows their only path to victory involves suppressing the vote.” Vice presidential hopeful Stacey Abrams blamed Georgia’s Republican secretary of state for the “unmitigated disaster” in the primary. When Kentucky officials announced that Tuesday’s primary would be held with fewer than 200 polling locations rather than the normal 3,700, even King James—basketball legend LeBron—tweeted, “This is SYSTEMATIC RACISM and OPPRESSION. So angry man.” He’d earlier written that Georgia’s primary raised the question “if how we vote is also structurally racist.” The problem? Votes weren’t suppressed. The Georgia primary turnout was the largest in state history. While Kentucky’s results won’t be announced before June 30, officials there also expect to beat the state’s record, from 2008. It hardly sounds as if the vote ...

Cities that fail to contain rioters could lose any funding for rebuilding

Town Hall: It's time to stop the anarchy. And Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) believes one way to do that is to threaten to withhold funds from any cities or states that continue to let rioters rule the streets. The Ending Taxpayer Funding of Anarchy Act is pretty self-explanatory. "For fiscal year 2021, and each fiscal year thereafter, a State or political subdivision of a State that is an anarchist jurisdiction at any time during a fiscal year may not receive Federal financial assistance from an executive agency during that fiscal year," the bill reads . “Anarchy cannot continue on our streets," Sen. Ernst said in a statement on Thursday. "If city officials or state leaders fail to do their job and protect their citizens, the federal government – American taxpayers – aren’t going to pay for it. Local officials are letting chaos continue in their streets, and in some cases, preventing law enforcement from protecting the public. That’s not the America I know or fough...

Do not allow Obama and Biden to get away with their crimes against Trump and his administration

Julie Kelly: In the 1987 classic “The Untouchables,” federal crime fighters take on legendary mafioso Al Capone and the Chicago mob during the Prohibition era. At the time, Capone controlled every power base in the city—from local newspapers to sitting judges. The film spawned a famous line—“he pulls a knife, you pull a gun”—from the scene where Sean Connery’s character explained how to overcome Capone and his thugs. The term “The Untouchables” referred not to the Chicago mafia but to Eliot Ness’ incorruptible gang of cops. In the Obama era, however, that term is flipped on its head. It applies to the former president himself and his own sort of mob—a broad syndicate of henchmen, including corrupt cops, who continue to serve their Don and enrich themselves in the process. Barack Obama still calls the shots and pulls the strings while his goombahs in the news media, federal government, and Democratic Party carry out his orders. “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,”...
