Boston's mistake in attacking Trump and Homan

Border Czar Tom Homan has warned the city of Boston that he is coming and “bringing hell with me” after the police commission refused to work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Homan issued the warning during a fiery speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) over the weekend.

“I read a story last night that the police commissioner of Boston, you said you’d double down on not helping law enforcement officers of ICE. I’m coming to Boston, and I’m bringing hell with me,” Homan said to thunderous applause.

Boston is a “sanctuary city” and, therefore, doesn’t “enforce civil detainers regarding federal immigration law,” according to Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox.

“I looked at the numbers this morning,” Homan said. “I stopped counting at nine child rapists that were in jail in Massachusetts, but rather than honoring an ICE detainer, released them back into the street.”

Homan demanded that Cox “take that badge off” his chest and accused him of not being a cop, but a politician instead.

“You’re not a police commissioner,” Homan asserted. “Take that badge off your chest, put it in the desk drawer because you became a politician, you forgot what it’s like to be a cop.”

Boston has been a “sanctuary city” since 2014.

The Boston Herald reports, “Under a state Supreme Judicial Court ruling in 2017, Massachusetts authorities cannot arrest or hold a person based on a federal civil immigration detainer. Boston has been a sanctuary city since 2014 under its Trust Act.”

Homan declared during his Saturday speech, “Sanctuary cities, you are a sanctuary for criminals.”

Boston is going to lose this fight.  Homan and Trump are going to enforce US immigration law and arrest people who broke the law by illegally entering the country.  Cities are not allowed to have their own immigration policy.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
