A new audit found #Illinois lost to fraud over half of $3.6B federal money under the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program – $1.9B lost to #fraud. The audit calls it “unprecedented.” And expect $Bs more in losses. Via @Wirepoints wirepoints.org/1-9-billion-of #twill @GovPritzker
The problem appears two-fold. Many of Illinois's citizens appear corrupt. Second it government appears inept in dealing with massive corruption if it is not deliberately looking the other way.
