Annual inflation hits 8.5% amid fears of broad economic slowdown

Inflation has proved to be one of the most blistering features of the pandemic economy, testing the White House and Federal Reserve.
Biden's attempt to suggest inflation was transitory is shown to be dead wrong.  He appears to be clueless in dealing with it.
