Media continues to be out of touch with reality in its war with Trump

Her peers rushed to defend her, but Alcindor has a track record of partisan commentary and unnecessarily hostile and silly questions.


They actually thought they came out ahead in the confrontation where Trump caught them misreporting his statements?  They thought the miscreant reporters were heroes when they were exposed as biased and attempting to mislead their readers about what the President actually said.

Their game is to twist what he actually says into something opposite of its meanings in an attempt to get voters to reject him.  That is not journalism.  It is practicing the politics of fraud.  When you shorten a quote to make it have the opposite meaning of what was intended that is a fraud.  It is much worse than a childish game of a professional clique of Trump haters.

If they were not so blinded by their biases they would understand why Trump's press briefings are popular.  It is not their silly questions but it is his response attacking their questions that people cheer.  Their defense of the reporters makes people respect the media even less if that is possible.  They come across as unprofessional.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
