Debunking the media narrative that Ukraine interference in 2016 election was 'debunked conspiracy theory'

Sharyl Attkisson:
Timeline of Alleged Ukrainian-Democrat Meddling in 2016 Presidential Election

...
According to reporting by Politico in January 2017, efforts by Democrats and Ukraine to “sabotage” the Trump campaign in 2016 did impact the race, even though Trump won in the end.

Both Politico and Yahoo News interviewed a key player in the controversy, Democratic National Committee (DNC) consultant Alexandra Chalupa, who previously worked under the Clinton administration.

Chalupa reportedly acknowledged in her 2017 interview with Politico that she worked as a consultant for the DNC during the 2016 campaign with the goal of publicly exposing Trump campaign aide Paul Manafort’s links to pro-Russian politicians in Ukraine. Chalupa admitted coordinating with the Ukrainian Embassy, and with Ukrainian and U.S. news reporters.

Attkisson's piece is worth reading in full.  It is pretty clear that Chalupa who is of Ukrainian origin even though her name sounds like a Mexican food entre was working for the DNC and with the Ukrainian embassy.   Attkisson has a timeline of her actions on behalf of the DNC in trying to harm the Trump campaign.

Why does the media keep saying that this is a debunked conspiracy theory?  I think it is because they hate Trump and would like to hurt him politically and they also try to conflate it with allegations that Crowdstrike or some other Ukranian entity was responsible for stealing the DNC emails.  Intelligence agencies still assert that it was the Russians who took copies of the email.

I think the emails were not that important a factor in why Hillary Clinton lost.  All they did was point out something that was true, the DNC fixed the primary elections to make sure Clinton was the nominee.  That fact was already pretty obvious without the emails.

Frankly, I was not a big fan of Trump but wound up voting for him because I could not stand Hillary Clinton's policies and did not want her selecting judges.  Trump has exceeded my expectations and has done a great job in selecting judges and managing the economy.  I will support him with enthusiasm in 2020.  I think the Democrats have acted in bad faith since his election and that the media has treated him unfairly.  I will eagerly vote against the choice of the Democrats and the media.
