President Obama addressed a crowd in Maryland on Thursday, discussing the benefits of the Affordable Care Act as well as the recent criticism from the Republican Party.
Days before the law’s main elements take effect, President Obama mocked opponents for “crazy” arguments and accused them of trying to “blackmail a president” to stop the law.
Does Obama have a short term memory problem.  Even the NY Times seems to have the problem, because when Obama was a senator he tried to do the same thing to stop the Iraq war using the debt ceiling as a way to stop funding.  Only he did not call it blackmail back then.  It was just leverage in a negotiation.

What we are seeing is a dishonest attempt to cut off debate about his priorities.
