Leaks that hurt

NY Times:

Al Qaeda Plot Leak Has Hampered U.S. Intelligence

The disclosure in August of a terrorist plot by Al Qaeda has caused more damage to American counterterrorism efforts than the vast trove of data from Edward Snowden, the former N.S.A. consultant, analysts said.
These kind of leads reveal our sources and methods of acquiring intelligence on enemy plans and plots in progress.  That allows the enemy to change their methods of communication and re do their planning for their mass murder attacks.  I cannot think of anything good that comes from leaks of enemy plots.
