68 Percent disapprove of Obama energy policies

Politico:
More than two in three Americans disapprove of how President Barack Obama is dealing with soaring gas prices, but don’t focus their blame on him for causing the problem, according to a new poll.
Most Americans, 68 percent, disapprove of Obama’s handling of gas prices, including 89 percent of Republicans, 73 percent of independents and 52 percent of Democrats, a Reuters/Ipsos survey found Tuesday. Only one in four, 24 percent, said they approve of the president’s response to high energy prices.

...
Meanwhile, a new Gallup survey reveals that economic issues continue to dominate the list of top 15 concerns among Americans – 71 percent of people said they worry about the economy “a great deal,” while 65 percent said the same thing about gas prices. Other problems topping the list of national worries included federal spending and the budget deficit, the availability and affordability of health care and unemployment.
None of this is good news for the President although the story tried to spin it as not so bad.  Even on health care its highlights the failure of Obamacare to meet its stated objective of making it more affordable.  These issues add up to a disaster for Obama and the Democrats if the poll numbers hold up through the election.
