Blogging will be limited, late Wednesday

I am going in for cataract surgery and to correct the vision in my left eye early Wednesday morning. My right eye is mostly healed from its surgery, although my distance vision is not where it needs to be yet. Hopefully, I will be back to balanced vision soon.

If you are considering the Lasik surgery, it did not involve any real discomfort for me and it is relatively quick.

The Democrat surrender monkeys

Don Surber: ... The Democratic Party victory is seen as a victory for the opponents of democracy in the Middle East in general and Iraq in particular. I am not blaming Democrats. I blame the 31 million Americans who have given up after less than 4 years. They may not eat cheese, but they are surrender monkeys. That half of them supported the war when it began is sickening. I can deal with a Robert C. Byrd. He opposed sending our troops into harm’s way. But Jay Rockefeller? John Kerry? Jack Murtha? They and the hundreds of other Democrats who voted for the war only to give up later are throwing away lives of our Iraqi allies who were foolish enough to trust us when President Bush said we were in Iraq to stay. Now they are running for cover. ... The Democratic “peace plan” will not bring peace to anyone.
