The Pelosi vacation from intelligence
Washington Times Editorial:
This has got to be the most egregious suspension of common sense in a long time by a political party. It is just absurd to put impediments in the way of intercepting enemy communications in a time of war. If Conyers had a case he would be bringing aggrieved witnesses in for dog and pony shows. Instead they are hoping that a giant costly fishing expedition might find them one.
...Yep. This disgraceful sellout to the greedy trial lawyers for the benefit of terrorist continues by Democrats in the House and their paranoid base that is more afraid of having their phone data scanned by an impersonal computer than being killed by terrorist.
Tomorrow, the speaker plans to send the House on another vacation — this one for two weeks. Her motto seems to be: It ain't over until the terrorists and trial lawyers win.
