Don't worry about all that money Obama and Clinton raised this month

They are spending it all on ads in Texas. I normally don't see a lot of political ads because I have Direct TV and don't watch local channels except for sports. I wen to San Antonio Friday afternoon to help my son repair his privacy fence this morning, and it seemed that even the cable channels were a blur of TV ads for Obama and Clinton.

My son, who is a Republican, said he had been called daily inviting him to an Obama rally last night. There were also several political signs between Washington and San Antonio (about 150 miles). The bad news for Hillary is that in one of the small towns, two Hispanic women were holding Obama signs.

I keep hearing that Republicans are going to vote in the Democrat primary because it may be their last chance to vote against Hillary Clinton. I hope that is not true. Both deserved to be beat in November and we should not give the Democrats any excuses about their selection.

I do think Obama will be in trouble when he gets out of the Democrat/media echo chamber and has to start debating on issues like the war and NAFTA with someone who want to win and who believes in the benefits of free trade.
