China, India and Iran
China has been dragging her feet on taking effective action against Iran, but it is not in China's strategic interest to see a conflict escalate into a situation that would cut off the flow of oil through the Straights of Hormuz.
The primary reason the price of oil has escalated in the last two years is increased consumption in China and India. Both of these countries have reasons to help the EU-3 and the US stop Iran's nuclear ambitions. Any conflict has the ability to disrupt the flow of oil in the Persain Gulf and that hurts them more than it hurts the US.
Russia finds itself in an almost no lose situation at this time. If she can resolve the crisis Russia can continue to sell technology to the Iranians. If the situation escalates and oil flow out of the Persian Gulf is disrupted, the Russians stand to gain becasue Russia is a net exporter of oil and it could then get a higher price.
The producing countries also know that the US is the country most able to defeat the Iranian attempts to disrupt the flow of oil, so the US would get a higher priority on production than countries like India and China unless they too join in the effort to defeat Iran.
