AP via Fox News:
A peace group blamed the United States and Britain for the abduction of four activists — an American, a Briton and two Canadians — shown in an insurgent video, saying the kidnapping was the direct result of the occupation of Iraq.Sounds like these guys are blaming democracy for prevoking the bad guys. It is hard tohave respect for such morally twisted reasoning. That is how they earned the antiwar puke label.
...A German archaeologist — bound and blindfolded — knelt among masked gunmen in one video. Four frightened peace activists were shown in another blurry tape.
The latest attacks are part of a new wave of kidnappings police fear is aimed at disrupting next month's national elections.
Christian Peacemaker Teams, a group that has had activists in Iraq since October 2002, said it was saddened by the video of their workers. The workers, the group said, were working against the occupation of Iraq.
"We are angry because what has happened to our teammates is the result of the actions of the U.S. and U.K. government due to the illegal attack on Iraq and the continuing occupation and oppression of its people," the group said.

Neal Boortz discusses the situation:
Islamic terrorists in Iraq have taken four Christian "peace" activists hostage and paraded them on the Jihad Channel (also known as Al-Jazeera.) The kidnappers are accusing the activists of being...what else, you guessed it, spies. Of course, anyone who is not a Muslim is a non-believer and should be either converted, subjugated or killed. Looks like they're working on the subjugation part right now. Among the hostages are one American, two Canadians and a Brit. If history is any guide, things don't look too good for these folks.
The correct message here is that when something like this happens it's time to take note of the enemy we are fighting. They will abduct people who are there to help civilians, parade them on TV and even behead them...all without any shame. This is the face of Islamic terrorism, our enemy in the War On Terror. These bloodthirsty animals have absolutely no problem justifying every bit of it in the name of Allah.
Look for a different spin from the mainstream media. In the pages of the New York Times you are likely to learn that all of this is George Bush's fault. Never mind that, as the agency these people worked for pointed out, they knew the risks of going to Iraq to work. Never mind that it is the Islamic terrorists that kidnapped these innocent people. No matter...if Saddam were still in power, this wouldn't be happening. Besides, is Saddam were still in power these so-called "peace activists" would be pleased with the situation in Iraq. Saddam good. Bush bad.
And notice how the media won't call the scumbags who did this "Islamic terrorists." Muslims would never do such a thing, you know.
