Legal immigrant blast Biden's open borders
Tech billionaire Elon Musk sounded off on social media about the number of illegal immigrants that have entered the United States during President Joe Biden's administration.
"More than the population of 36 states in just over 3 years!" Musk wrote in a post on X on Tuesday. "I am very much in favor of legal immigration, being an immigrant myself, but allowing a flood of millions of unvetted people to enter the United States illegally is insane."
Musk, a South African immigrant, was responding to a post by conservative commentator Ashley St. Clair, which claimed 7.2 million illegal immigrants have arrived in the U.S. since Biden took office in 2021.
"Over 1,000 of them took over NYC City Hall Park here to protest being sent to shelters and they are demanding permanent housing," St. Clair said, including a picture of herself holding a sign that read "7.2 million" with what appeared to be foreign nationals in the background.
According to Customs and Border Protection, more than 9.5 million migrants have illegally crossed into the country, as of the most recent data from March.
This isn't the first time Musk has raised concerns about the hazards of illegal immigration.
In February, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO sounded the alarm about the massive influx of illegal immigrants that he said is "crushing the country."

Musk became a billionaire by being smart and working hard. You can't say that about most of the illegal immigrants coming into the country. I am also fed up with those in this country who excuse that conduct and want to call illegals "undocumented."
