Biden's border disaster grows worse

 Mike Miller:

...

As noted by CNS News, the decision that the Biden administration no longer must comply with the Remain in Mexico policy will result in roughly 18,000 “immigrants” illegally crossing the border each day — totaling more than six million per year. Even worse, the estimates were provided by the Biden administration.

During a Sunday morning appearance on Fox News, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott put Biden’s illegal alien “invasion” into proper, eye-opening perspective:

We will have about one Houston coming across the border every year.

“So this is going to be a total disaster,” Abbott warned, as transcribed by CNS News, adding:

First, it was Texas leading the way in getting court decisions to keep the Remain in Mexico policy and keep the Title 42 policy in place. Obviously, as you point out, the Supreme Court has stricken down the Remain in Mexico policy.

Let me just give you the numbers that were provided by the Biden administration. They predicted that after the elimination of these policies, we should have about 18,000 people coming across the border illegally per day.

Extrapolate that for an annual basis, you’re going to have more than 6 million people coming across the border a year.

Abbott remained incensed about Biden’s purposeful illegal invasion of his state, along with Arizona and California.

Listen, these counties are dealing with something that’s completely unprecedented. Remember this, it was just two years ago we had the lowest number of people coming across the border and apprehensions under President Trump, and then President Biden took over and eliminated all of the policies that President Trump put in place, and it has led to this unprecedented, overwhelming number of people coming across the border.

[…]

So, yes, we do have an invasion driven by the cartels coming across our border that are pouring people into our country at unprecedented levels.

Abbott said “technical reasons” in the U.S. Constitution allow Texas to classify the Biden Border Crisis™ as an invasion, thus triggering additional strategies the Lone Star State and other states can implement against the ongoing crisis.

There are two parts of the U.S. Constitution, Article IV, section four [and] Article I section 10. In that executive order that I issued this past week, I referenced both of those, plus I referenced a provision of the Texas constitution that also uses the word invasion.

The purpose of using those words is it triggers certain additional ways and strategies that states can use their powers to try to protect against actions such as this that are driven by the cartels.

And then the cartels.

As I noted in my July 5 article, efforts by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and other state agencies during the Biden administration have led to more than 236,000 migrant apprehensions, along with almost 14,000 criminal arrests and more than 11,300 felony charges.

Over 3,800 weapons and almost $30 million in currency have been seized, as well. And here’s arguably the most important statistic of all: In the ongoing battle against America’s real pandemic — deadly fentanyl — DPS agents have seized more than 300 million lethal doses throughout the state.

...

Biden and many Democrats are indifferent to the criminal enterprise they are facilitating for the Mexican drug cartels.  They should all be impeached starting with Biden.  Voters need to give the GOP substantial majorities in the 2022 election to turn back this illegal invasion.   That is the only way to apparently stop this criminal invasion.
