Some Democrats begin to question Biden's judgment

 Ed Morrissey:

What a great question! Why hasn’t anyone else raised it before todayOhwait  …

To be fair, Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA) raised the issue almost four weeks ago. She tweeted this shortly before Punchbowl reported that the House Democrat caucus had grown increasingly uncomfortable with Joe Biden’s plan to outsource American national security to a “war criminal”:

Earlier today, Luria joined fourteen others in the House Democratic caucus who posed the question more bluntly. If Biden insists that Vladimir Putin is a “war criminal” that needs to go “on trial,” and that he cannot be allowed to remain in power, then why in the world would Biden partner with Putin on a bad deal to let Iran’s mullahs off the nuclear hook?

...

Actually, this is just one aspect of this deal that makes no sense.  The deal itself looks worse than Obama's really bad deal with Iran.  Why put the genocidal religious bigots who rule Iran on the glide path to nuclear weapons?  It has never made any sense.
