Americans left behind in Afghanistan

Nine hundred sounds like a big number. It might not even represent seven percent of the crisis:

The Biden administration has helped relocate about 900 U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents from Afghanistan to the United States following the withdrawal from Afghanistan, the State Department said Monday.

 So 900 out of 14,000 is just 6.5% of the total number of Americans stuck in Afghanistan. There may be some who don’t want to leave, but do we really think that 93% of the Americans who went to Afghanistan to help the US mission there really prefer to stick around now that the Taliban has taken charge? Ninety percent? Seventy-five percent? In the middle of a coming famine, no less? That construct is absolutely absurd.

The Biden administration has been dishonest about the number of Americans left behind after the "Biden bugout."  Private individuals who served in Afghanistan have done more than the Biden administration to get some of these people out.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ... Bin Laden's concern about Zarqawi's remains
