Impeachment to create more divisiveness
The Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump will further divide the country. So says more than half of likely voters in new polling results.
The Rasmussen Reports survey found that voters, by a 3-to-1 margin, expect the upcoming trial to leave the country more divided than unified, per the New York Post.
Only 20 percent said the trial will have no effect on the country's political division, and 19 percent said it will help unify Americans.
As for should Trump be convicted of "high crimes and misdemeanors," 50 percent answered, "Yes," and 45 percent said, "No."
...
I think when the evidence is presented more people will be against conviction. It just does not support the allegations of the House.
