Why would Russia prefer Trump to Sanders?

It is enough to make you question the sanity of the left as well as their ridiculous response to the Roger Stone sentencing.

Besides McCarthy's recitation of Trump policies that the Russians hate, there is Bernie Sanders and his policy of stopping fracking which would be a benefit for the Russian energy market.  It is also likely that Democrats would cut military spending which would also be favored by Putin.  All in all what makes the NY Times and others on the left think they can sell this crap?

This is more evidence that Sen. Chris Murphy a Democrat idiot from Connecticutt is not very smart when it comes to Russia and its objectives.  This Democrat thinks Trump demands that NATO forces increase their defense spending and that Europe not rely on Russian gas imports is helpful to Russia.  Connecticut needs new representation in the Senate.
