US jobless claims are at a low not seen since November of 1969

Daily Mail:

Good day for jobs: Claims for unemployment are at their lowest since November 1969 with economists saying the labor market is staying strong

Claims for state unemployment benefits dropped 13,000 to 199,000 for the week ended Jan. 19, the lowest level since mid-November in 1969, the Labor Department said.
These numbers are well into the partial government shutdown that many have claimed would cause a slowdown in the economy.  It does not appear to have happened yet.
