North Korea takes Trump's advice and develops beach resort?

It is intended to be one of the biggest and most luxurious resorts in Asia – in one of the most repressive countries on earth. Myongsasipri beach, personal project of the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, is nearing completion.

Satellite images analysed by American experts reveal that work on the Wonsan-Kalma Tourist Zone, of which the beach forms a part, has intensified after a visit by Mr Kim in October, when he criticised the design of the resort.

The project demonstrates the emphasis placed by Mr Kim on economic, rather than just military, development, as well as his wish to open his country to more foreign visitors.

When Trump met with Kim he made a presentation on turning a North Korean beach into a resort community.  It looks like Kim took him seriously and it is certainly a better use of North Korean resources than making ICBMs.
