Partisan healthcare law can't be fixed

NY Times:

In Partisan Washington, Health Law Faces Grave Legal Technicalities

The Affordable Care Act faces grave danger because legislative repair work that was once routine has grown impossible.
The problem with the law goes back to its creation when the Democrats refused to listen to Republican suggestions and objections and crammed through a very partisan bill with no Republican votes.   They should not be surprised that Republicans don't want to do anything to fix what has become a very toxic law which is approved by only 37 percent of voters.  Voting to fix the mess the Democrats created would be seen as a sellout by the Republican base.  It is a law that deserves to be killed.
