Hispanics lack voting enthusiasm

Washington Post:
....
 * A new WSJ/Telemundo poll found that President Obama has a 40-point lead over former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney with Hispanics. But enthusiasm among Hispanic voters remains far lower than it was in 2008 and behind other demographic groups, and there has been no change since Obama’s shift in deportation policy. Only 66 percent of Latinos say they are highly interested in the election....
It appears that Obama's pander to Hispanics has bought him little in the way of support and is more likely to energize conservatives who oppose his open borders policies.  It is interesting how little play this part of the poll received after reporters have been saying for days that Romney and the GOP have been put on the defensive.  The fact is that Obama's immigration policy is opposed by about two-thirds of voters.
