Lawfare in the battle against al Qaeda

NY Times:

White House Legal Advisers Weigh Limits of Terror Fight

The use of force resolution that authorized teh war against al Qaeda should be considered broad enough to cover the fight agianst members of that group in places like Yemen and Somalia.  I think the problem is with the State Department and its unnecessary sensitivities toward others who are squeamish when it comes to destroying the enemy.
