DeMint wants written jobs plan from Obama, tired of speeches
Washington Times:
Sen. Jim DeMint said Sunday that he is “tired” of President Obama’s speeches and “frustrated with … things that have been leaking out from the White House.”DeMint also said he likes all the top tier candidates in the GOP field and thinks any of them would be better than Obama. I think the demand for something in writing is a reaction to the failure of Obama to offer specifics on the budget sticking with amorphous speeches instead of offering something that could be scored by the Congressional Budget Office.
“Frankly, I am so tired of his speeches, it’s going to be hard for me to watch,” Mr. DeMint, South Carolina Republican, said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We need a plan in writing, he needs to send it to us and tell us what it is going to cost so not only Congress and the American people can read it, businesses can read it.”
