The Obama teams self serving report

Andrew Malcolm:

Obama team probe of Obama team finds no Obama team impropriety

The Barack Obama presidential transition office today finally released its own report on its own internal investigation of its own contacts with legally challenged Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. And you'll be comforted to know the Obama folks found no impropriety whatsoever by Obama folks.

...

He has much more and seems to be the only mainline guy to take a critical look at what was obviously a self serving document dumped late in the day so the network news guys would just have to take it for face value. Malcolm working on the left coast had a little more time to digest the material and certainly wrote a more compelling story about it.

Major Garrett at Fox News also comments on the "closed loop" nature of the report with a predetermined finding.

  1. Like everything else OBLama does when issues get sticky he leaves, or votes present. When he has to address an aggressive action by one of our known enemies.....how does an I"m here sound as a proper response? Or a vacation in Hawaii when ever it gets too difficult for him to handle. This guy is a wimp who is going to let his staff handle all the sticky issues he gets presented with ...parish the thought that our first Black President might end up with some mud on his face.

  2. This "new president" is nothing but a huge wimp.
I wonder if a "present" response or a vacation to Hawaii, is how he'll respond when some-
thing like Iran taking 378 of our citizens hostage on his watch happens because he will be tested like this for sure just like Jimmy Carter was. He is so afraid as our "First Black President", of getting slightly muddy with a sticky issue, that he lets his staff deal with all the ugly issues, and he leaves the country. Why didn't he stick around and answer some of the questions the press wanted to ask him about the Illinois scandal. Why didn't he go to Washington DC when Our congress had one of the most important issues to deal with in the history of our country. The failure of our banking industry. At least Mc Cain tried to do something. This man is afraid to make a decision. How can we trust this man in a crisis? His answer for how to deal with every sticky issue is to allow his VP or other staff member to present his plan while he vacations in Hawaii, where no one in the press can find him or talk to him.
