Obama's Ayers narrative does not add up at this point. It is so inconsistent with what most people would do in similar circumstances that it is keeping the controversy alive. I would find it to be creepy to be in the same room with a guy like Ayers, much less work with him closely or start my political career in his living room. The question for Obama is that if he disapproved of Ayers' action why did he continue to associate with him for years?
Palin has found away to attack this association that questions Obama's judgment. That goes to the heart of Obama's campaign. Of course it is an issue and not a distraction.

He could express made up stuff with such passion that most in the media said he made no mistakes. There were only over 20 Biden whoppers.
