The McCain advertising campaign has been one of its best weapons in this campaign. They have gotten inside Obama's OODA loop and they just keep firing.

Oil prices rise in the wake of Syrian missile strike

Bloomberg/Fuel Fix: Oil jumped as the U.S. cruise-missile attack against Syria roiled global financial markets. Futures in New York and London surged more than 2 percent to the highest in a month. The strike early Friday morning targeted hangars, planes and fuel tanks at one Syrian military airfield, according to a U.S. official. Syria borders Iraq, OPEC’s second-biggest crude producer. The news rippled across financial markets, with the yen and gold advancing as stocks declined. “It seems today’s spike is just a knee-jerk reaction to the missile strike,” said Thomas Pugh, a commodities economist at Capital Economics. “Syria produces little oil itself so the spike probably reflects the risk of increased tensions between the U.S. and Russia or Iran.” Oil had struggled to extend a rally beyond $51 a barrel as concern over surging U.S. supplies countered optimism around a possible extension to production cuts led by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. The Democrat surrender monkeys

Don Surber: ... The Democratic Party victory is seen as a victory for the opponents of democracy in the Middle East in general and Iraq in particular. I am not blaming Democrats. I blame the 31 million Americans who have given up after less than 4 years. They may not eat cheese, but they are surrender monkeys. That half of them supported the war when it began is sickening. I can deal with a Robert C. Byrd. He opposed sending our troops into harm’s way. But Jay Rockefeller? John Kerry? Jack Murtha? They and the hundreds of other Democrats who voted for the war only to give up later are throwing away lives of our Iraqi allies who were foolish enough to trust us when President Bush said we were in Iraq to stay. Now they are running for cover. ... The Democratic “peace plan” will not bring peace to anyone.
