Romney and Hillary

Bob Novak cites some polling data that points out Romney's problem:

...

Romney’s problem is not difficult to diagnose. He never has come close to being a leading rank-and-file choice for president by Republicans. He is simply not popular nationally, and one national pollster (with no personal animus against him) has told me that Romney is not electable. The overriding source of his difficulty is that over 30 percent of all voters say they cannot vote for any Mormon.

...
The problem for Republicans and Romney is that there is not much overlap between that 30 percent who want vote for him and the 50 percent who want vote for Hillary Clinton. A Clinton Romney race would be a low turn out affair. I think those who vote against Romney because of his religion are being unfair and whatever his failings he would be a much better President than Hillary Clinton.
