A piece of Palestine
There is an old joke about a question in a Sunday School class where the teacher ask where JEsus was born. The answers cam pouring in.
"Paris."
"Carthage."
"Nacogdoches."
Finally exasperated the teacher says "Palestine."
The class muttered and one guy finally said, I knew it was in East Texas somewhere.
It seems Adrian Peterson has finally put the town on the map. The NY Times has done a story about the Minnesota Vikings rookie running back out of Oklahoma and the towns pride in the best back out of East Texas since Earl Campbell. He sounds like a guy it is hard not to like, even if was a traitor who took his talents to Oklahoma rather than the University of Texas where he belonged.
Palestine, Texas is at peace with his choices.
