Brits say global warming caused flooding
It has been described as the worst flooding in 60 years in the UK and it did not take long to blame global warming. At least they did not blame Bush, but my question is what caused the huge flood 60 years ago?
We Texans know something about flooding too these days. About 30 years ago the engineers came up with the 100 year flood plain concept that limited building in certain areas. It helped, but sometimes it seems like we get those 100 year floods (i.e. one every 100 years) about every 10 years. I am sure it will average out if we live long enough. BTW, it has been about 10 degrees are more cooler during the recent monsoon. Maybe seeing the sun does have some effect on temperatures.
So, do you think Noah blamed his flood on global warming?
