Patronizing battle fatigue cases
We have come a long way from General Patton's slap of a soldier with battle fatigue, or have we. Anne Hull and Dana Priest are now using these soldiers as props in their anti war campaign in a story in the Washington Post. It is part of their continuing assault on Walter Reed as a punching bag for their hatred of the Bush administration and its effort to win the war against the terrorist who want to kill us.
These men deserve our compassion. They do not deserve to be patronized and used as props for people whose agenda is the opposite of what they were trying to accomplish. It is part of the war is making men crazy theme that the anti war pukes used during Vietnam. It is disgusting to use these men's suffering for this purpose.
