The joke on the Nobel Political Correctness Prize

The Jerusalem Post reported: “Looters raid Arafat’s home, steal his Nobel Peace Prize.”

Not the Onion.

Not Scrappleface.

Not Chris Muir.

The Jerusalem Post.

“They stole almost everything inside the house, including Arafat’s Nobel Peace Prize medal,” said Ramallah-based Fatah spokesman Ahmed Abdel Rahman. “Hamas militiamen and gangsters blew up the main entrance to the house before storming it. They stole many of Arafat’s documents and files, gifts he had received from world leaders and even his military outfits.”

But it is not a robbery. It is justice. Yasser Arafat no more deserved that prize than Osama bin Laden does.

A bunch of holier-than-thou wizards in Scandanavia gave the terrorist Arafat — and Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin of Israel — the Nobel Prize for a faux peace in the Middle East. It was the second only to the 1973 award to Henry Kissinger and Le Duc Tho as the biggest Nobel fraud.

I wrote this, then went to see what Jules Crittenden had to say: “I have to commend these Hamas gentlemen on their keen sense of irony in scoring Yasser’s Nobel Peace Prize medal. ”

Then I went to see what Roger L. Simon had to say: “I wonder what the pompous fakes in Oslo who awarded the psycho-killler the prize in the first place must be thinking. I’ll tell you what I’m thinking - it’s poetic justice.”

Then I went to see what Tigerhawk had to say: “Hamas finds its sense of humor.”

There is more. Perhaps the Hamas thugs would take Jimmy Carter's prize too if they had the opportunity, and he is just the guy to give them that opportunity. So far in the search for ironic comments none have surfaced from the Nobel Committee or Jimmy Carter. However, Rush Limbaugh would be the safe choice for this year's prize.
