Holy war against India?

A group claiming to represent the al-Qaida terror network declared a holy war on India over its partial control of the divided Himalayan region of Kashmir, Indian officials said Saturday.

A statement and video was sent Friday to the Current News Service, in Srinagar, the main city of India's Jammu-Kashmir state, in which a masked man standing next to an automatic weapon read the declaration.

"We declare righteous holy war against India on behalf of God the great in which Jammu and Kashmir will be the launch pad for holy war in India," said the statement signed by Abu Abdul Rehman al-Ansari, purportedly the chief of al-Qaida Fil Hind or al-Qaida in India.

It is time to remind Democrats of some obvious facts. India has no troops in Iraq or the Middle East. While that may seem obvious to most, we should remember that the anti war left and Ron Paul claim al Qaeda is attacking us because we are operating in the Middle East with our forces. Even Osama and Zawahiri have said that if we just left the Middle East they would leave us alone. So why are they picking on India? there are a couple of reasons. Bin Laden and Zawahiri are lying when they say they will leave us alone if we leave. At their heart, their core, al Qaeda is made up of religious bigots who hate those who reject Islam. that is the basis of their anger against the Jews, the Christians, the Buddhist and the Hindu. Until we destroy al Qaeda it will be at war with all non Muslims and with all Muslims who reject al Qaeda's weird beliefs.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
