Supreme Court failed to stop Biden's absurd border policies
Over 50 migrants died this week in the back of a tractor-trailer on the outskirts of San Antonio. The Supreme Court had a chance to end the catch and release policies that helped cause this tragedy Thursday, but it declined. President Joe Biden can continue flooding the southern border with unprecedented numbers of migrants from around the world — a callous and negligent policy that frequently leads to such tragedies.
Due to a loophole created by a 2008 anti-trafficking law, the southwest border has experienced periodic surges of migrants illegally crossing the border, claiming asylum, and then being released into the United States.
The overwhelming majority of these migrants are only seeking higher wages and do not qualify for asylum. But the backlog of cases means it will be years before their applications are denied. By that time, they know Democratic presidents such as Biden are very unlikely to deport them.
In 2018, President Donald Trump put an end to this practice by introducing the Migrant Protection Protocols, more commonly known as the "Remain in Mexico" policy. At first, the government of Mexico refused to participate, but after Trump threatened to raise tariffs on Mexican goods, Mexico agreed to host migrants applying for asylum in the U.S.
By not allowing migrants with bogus asylum claims to enter the country, Trump destroyed the only incentive for making bogus asylum claims in the first place. Remain in Mexico worked. The flood of migrants nearly came to a halt. Law and order were restored to the southern border.

Biden is not as smart as Trump and he also is not as interested in enforcing US immigration laws. Biden should be impeached for his failure to enforce the law.
